The “Empowering Women in Cybersecurity” initiative is a groundbreaking project aimed at increasing women’s engagement and expertise in the field of cybersecurity. Funded by the British Council and supported by Aswan University and Glasgow Caledonian University, the project aligns with Egypt’s national vision for empowering women in technology and innovation.

Goals of the Project
  1. Raising Awareness: Provide cybersecurity education tailored for women, emphasizing safe online practices and addressing the unique challenges they face in digital spaces.
  2. Knowledge Expansion: Equip women, including non-specialists, with the skills needed to navigate and understand cybersecurity.
  3. Inspiring the Next Generation: Encourage high school and university female students to explore learning and career opportunities in cybersecurity.
